Joebonsai

Bonsai trees and supplies since 1980.

It's not just the same old yada yada.

Joebonsai is located in Garland, TX and provide top quality Bonsai trees, supplies and information online. We earned our reputation over the years by offering bonsai trees that are healthy, well established and reflect years of care and artistic influence.  Every single one of them is grown and trained here at Joebonsai, period. We know our trees personally from the roots up and satisfaction is unconditionally guaranteed.

The tree that I'm looking at online is the tree I actually get?

Absolutely. We individually photograph every Bonsai tree we sell. No look alikes - no examples of what you might get - you see the actual tree. We add new trees for sale when they reach a level that we can be proud to put the Joebonsai name on, and when that Bonsai tree sells, it is removed from the website forever.  Every Bonsai tree is different from the even closest match - Nobody should have to take what they're given when it comes to matters of taste, right? Why this is important is below.

We have Bonsai tools and supplies-o-plenty.

We also offer a great selection of the highest quality Japanese bonsai tools. We buy our tools directly from Japan which allows us to offer them to our customers at real-world prices.  Most importantly, they're Japanese, not Chinese...not Taiwanese, and that's important.  You can find more about our Japanese tools on the "Bonsai tools | What you should know" page.

Every tree needs a humidity/drip tray.

That's a fact. And that's why we include one with every one of our trees... at no charge. Some sites up-sell you to add a humidity tray at $5 a crack.  That's just... wrong.

Every pot needs the right drainage mesh.

That's a fact too. And that's why we include it with every one of the pots we sell, for free.

Who are our customers?

Joebonsai customers are the best!  People new to the Bonsai world tell us they are happy to find a Bonsai site that speaks plain English.  Old pros and Horticulturists appreciate the quality of our supplies and tools.  Our Bonsai potting medium, for example, is used and endorsed by bonsai pros everywhere.  We have customers all over the globe and we've been entrusted to provided Bonsai trees to mega-corporations and movie stars.  Our Bonsai trees have been used as props in tv shows, movies and catalogs.  Check out our "What joebonsai customers are saying" page for customer comments; all of them are unsolicited.

You'll love our quick shipping.

Joebonsai.com is famous (sort of) for our quick shipping.  We don't ship your stuff "when we get around to it" -  we process your order as soon as humanly possible.

Our Corporate Yacht

The Bonsai tree industry's dirty little secret:

Most of the bigger Bonsai tree websites have little or no actual inventory, they simply post stock images of Bonsai trees, claiming them as their own.  These websites work with each other to "drop ship" Bonsai trees for each other or have one shipped from mass production growers in Florida.  In other words, the Bonsai trees they sell are shipped from whoever in their network happens to have one of them, and the customers end up with a Bonsai tree with no guarantee of health and looks nothing like the Bonsai tree they thought they were buying.  These companies claim to have grown and trained the trees they are selling, when in reality, they've never been within a thousand miles of them.

At Joebonsai, we do not, have not and will not, sell someone else's Bonsai trees - and what that means is that every one of our Bonsai trees come with a little "peace of mind" and our unconditional guarantee of satisfaction - period.

Additionally, we strictly forbid the copying or use of our product images by others, yet some websites use them anyway. All of our product images can be identified by our trademark "frame" style. Sites that use them have, well... dirty little secrets.

Yes Virginia, there is a JoeBonsai.

* Not Actual Size. Joebonsai is older and displaces more water than Joebonsai shown.
